Text to say that the self-assessment is part of a process, not a quick fix. It’s not about becoming dementia friendly overnight, it’s about working towards it, so if you identify several areas to change you can prioritise them and address them as and when you can. There might be some simple, quick wins that are easy to implement, while bigger changes might have to wait until you have the time and resources available.
Text to say don’t need toilets on site, but good if can provide information to visitors so that they know what to expect. For example, if they know that there are no toilets they can make sure they stop on the way if they need to, or know where to find the nearest ones to the site.
